Being Good Stewards of Your Clothing Donations

At our Distribution Center, volunteers sort through and organize the thousand pounds of generous clothing donations!

Our first priority with the clothing donations is to fill our Clothing Room which provides men, women and children in need with free clothing. We also support Clothing Rooms at several local schools to help provide free clothing to students in need.

After our Clothing Rooms are filled, we use different retail outlets, such as our Thrift Store, where the profits will support the programs of City Mission. By utilizing these options, we're able to maximize the impact of the clothing donations.

Finally, we recycle clothing and shoes that are stained, ripped, dirty, etc. This provides job skill training for our residents and revenue to help support the ministries of City Mission.

In addition to clothing, we also sell donated household items at our Thrift Store.
