Thanksgiving 2020 looked different at City Mission due to COVID-19. Instead of gathering together in our Dining Center, to-go meals were distributed to hungry men, women and children. We missed celebrating together, but it was important to maintain proper social distancing to keep everyone safe!
Despite these changes, it was still a special day of good food and gratefulness. Through the generosity of friends like you, our residents and community members are still receiving critical help during these difficult times. You help to meet their basic needs and more importantly, you let them know that someone else care about them.
DARO, CITY MISSION GRADUATE
They accepted me in, listened to me, let me know I have a voice ... I didn’t know I have a voice. They care about me. They gave me hope. Come to find out, I’m a caring person.
