A Brighter Future for Her Children
When Casey first arrived at City Mission last spring, she felt a sense of relief and peace.
“I knew I was going to be ok and taken care of.”
During her time as a resident at the Family Life Center, Casey experienced great transformation.
“It was life-changing, The ladies at the FLC helped me through everything. It brought me closer to God.”
Surrounded by support and love, she began to rebuild
her life.
We spoke with Casey for the Spring Journal, and since then, her journey has taken incredible strides. She now works at the FLC as the Child Enrichment Coordinator, caring for children and loving her new role.
“It’s not where I imagined myself, but I absolutely love it.”
Beyond her job, Casey also moved into her own apartment and recently achieved a major milestone—gaining full custody of her children.
“The best thing that’s happened is getting my kids back. They all have their own rooms for the first time, and they love it.”
Looking ahead, Casey dreams of giving her children a good future.
“I want to save enough money to buy a house, City Mission gave me a solid foundation, and now I want to build on that for me and my kids.”
To friends like you who have made this possible, she offers heartfelt gratitude:
“Thank you for giving us opportunity, guidance and hope. Without you, there would be a lot of lost souls.”
