REBUILDING LIVES
In the summer of 2019, we began construction of 8 new apartments to expand our Transitional Housing program. We will also be renovating 2 existing apartments so when the project is finished, we will now have 10 additional transitional housing apartments on Lafayette Street.
These apartments help our graduates as they transition from living in the shelters to being on their own. They receive assistance with planning for the future, reaching personal goals, managing money and maintaining a budget.
PAM, TRANSITIONAL HOUSING RESIDENTBeing here at the Mission is being with your family. It’s a safe feeling. This place gave me a second chance at life, gave my children a chance at life, because they were so young. This is our foundation, spiritually, emotionally, financially.
