2018 ANNUAL BANQUET

Sleeping outside is dangerous. Throughout this winter season, we have seen an increase in guests arriving at our shelters to escape from the cold.
A CHRISTMAS WISH
When Carol arrived at City Mission, she was in a state of despair. She came with her young daughter, Katie, and they were frightened, nervous and unsure of what to expect.
LISA’S STORY
When Lisa received devastating news of the death of her brother and nephew, it impacted her deeply. At the same time, her health began to fail. “It just felt like I was losing everything.”
2017 GOLF WITH A MISSION
On September 18th, we hosted our 5th annual “Golf with a Mission” tournament at the Mohawk Golf Club to benefit City Mission’s employment program.

At this year’s 111th anniversary banquet, we celebrated “The Power of One.” It was a wonderful time of as over 1,100 people joined us over the course of three nights.

Amy arrived at City Mission a few months ago. “As I approached the Family Life Center, I suddenly got tears in my eyes. I said to myself, “I’m home… this is my home.”

Mary, a resident of our Family Life Center, knows what that feels like. Recently, she became homeless for the first time —a situation she never thought she would face.

Sean first came to City Mission because he needed something to eat and a place to sleep. Like so many others, he was hungry. He was tired. And he was scared.
